Scanning From the Control Panel to
an Application

Make sure that your machine and computer are turned on
and properly connected to each other.

Load the document(s) face up into the ADF.
OR
Place a single document face down on the document glass.
For details about loading a document, see page 7.6.

Press
Scan-to
. The first available menu item, “Application,”
appears on the bottom line.

Press
Enter
and press the scroll button ( or ) to select an
application to which you want to send the scanned image.

Press
Enter
. The selected application window opens. Adjust
the scan settings and start scan. For details, please refer to
the User’s Guide of the application.
