5. Macintosh Configuration
Configuring Macintosh
This section describes how to configure a Macintosh computer to use EtherTalk.
The actual procedures to configure a Macintosh may vary depending on the ver-
sion of the Mac OS. The following procedure describes how to configure Mac OS
9. If you are not using Mac OS 9, see the manual that comes with your version of
Mac OS for more information.
Limitation
❒ Use PostScript 3, to print from a Macintosh.
Changing to EtherTalk
The following procedure is for configuring a Macintosh computer to use Ether-
Talk.

Open [Control Panel], and double-click the [AppleTalk] icon.

From the [Connect via:] pop-up menu, select “Ethernet”.

If you change zones, select a name from the [Current zone:] pop-up menu.

Close the [AppleTalk] control panels.
E
Restart the Macintosh.
